Breast milk is the best food for babies in the first months of life. Whether or not to breastfeed your baby depends on your decision. If your baby is both breastfed and formula fed or formula-only, you will have a lot of concerns. Therefore, you need to know how to properly preserve infant formula because it is easy to spoil when stored in a normal environment.

1. Select quality milk bottles

When buying baby bottles, you should choose to buy products from reputable brands on the market to ensure quality, BPA-free . Some things quite to keep in mind when choosing to buy baby bottles:

Bottles should be of the best quality, check to see if they are cracked or tampered with.

The jar is made of materials that can be used in a microwave, with a lid that sticks to the jar tightly. This is essential, as the milk will not spill if you tilt the bottle.

Baby bottles must be cleaned after each use. Therefore, choose a bottle that is easy to wash to make cleaning easier.

2. Sterilize bottles

No matter how busy you are, take the time to disinfect a bottle before feeding your baby:

Fill a clean pot with water, bring it to a boil, and turn down the heat.

Place the parts of the separated bottle in a pot of boiled water and let it sit for at least 5 minutes.

In addition to boiling, you can also microwave baby bottles. Place all the bottle parts in a submerged container and microwave in the microwave for 10 - 15 minutes.

After disinfection, wash the bottles and nipples with warm water.

3. Make baby milk

Usually, the milk box will have specific instructions on how to mix milk, how many scoops of milk to mix with how much water.

Mix the powdered milk with warm or cooled water according to the instructions on the packaging. Do not mix milk with cold water as it will not dissolve.

For some types of instant milk, just cover and shake well, the milk can dissolve. However, there are varieties that are difficult to dissolve, and you need to stir them with a spoon.

Mix the formula exactly according to the recipe on the packaging to avoid too liquid or too thick milk.

Check the temperature of the milk before feeding your baby by placing a few drops of milk on the inside of your wrist. Make sure the milk is neither too hot nor too cold. Warm milk is best for your baby.
