The game of hiding and finding objects in and out of the tent helps babies begin to understand that the mother or the object still exists even when the baby cannot see it. Although very simple, but this activity gives your baby many interesting surprises!
Suitable age: 7- 15 months
Development skills : This 7-month-old baby game will help your baby understand the concept of eternal objects (Things and objects still exist even outside of their vision).
Need to prepare: Two chairs or a long table, a large tablecloth (or blanket, sheet, ..) and a favorite toy (doll, teddy bear, ...)
Playing with children is not only a bridge connecting motherhood but also helps them develop wisdom
How to play:
Spread the towel on the table or 2 chairs to let the towel reach the floor, making it like creating a tent, enough space for the baby to crawl underneath. Hide your baby's favorite toy in a tent and ask, "Where's my doll?". Then, let your baby crawl into the tent or pull the towel to find his lost friend (You can also help with this). When you find the item, you shout to the baby: "Ah, here is my doll!".
From 9 - 12 months: Child's thinking development From 9 to 12 months, babies often act purposefully. For example, your baby may crawl away quickly when he sees you holding a diaper because he doesn't like changing diapers. These purposeful actions show that the baby's memory is developing better.
Next, if your baby already knows how to crawl, you encourage him to crawl and hide in the tent, if he is shy, you should comfort and help. Next, how do they know that you can't see them when you're out in the tent? Ask, "Where is my baby?", And when he crawls out or peeks you through the towel, cheerfully say, "Ah, here is my baby!". Always remember to use your voice to talk to your baby during play to reassure your baby that she is still around!
