Development of 19 weeks fetus

How does the 19-year-old fetus develop?

The 19th week fetus is now the size of a tomato, weighs about 240g and is about 15cm long from head to toe.

Babies are protected by a layer of white wax so that sensitive skin is not cracked or scratched. This wax gradually disappears towards the end of pregnancy, so premature babies are often covered in this wax when born. During this week, a layer of brown fat will develop and function to keep your baby warm after birth. During the last three months of fetal development, many more layers of fat will continue to develop to protect your baby.

A change in the mother's body at 19 weeks of pregnancy

19 weeks pregnant, how does the mother's body change?

How happy it is that at this moment, mom can begin to feel the baby's movements in her body. The first movements usually happen very quickly, so you can easily mistake them for a bloating or think your own stomach is protesting. But after that, she will feel the kicks, the punches, and maybe the little hiccups in her stomach.

Every baby has a very different way of movement, but if you care or notice that these movements have decreased in frequency and intensity, see your doctor for timely help and advice.

What are the things you need to pay attention to?

There is not enough scientific evidence to prove that pregnancy can harm a mother's memory and mental performance. Experts say that sometimes mothers pay too much attention to the changes in their mind and think that their memory is affected during pregnancy. Let's change your mindset! If you are a mother for the first time, think that you are going through a period of physical and emotional change. Gradually get used to the changes in your mother's mind and think about the positives of being pregnant at 19 weeks, such as motherhood and happy times when your baby is born.

Doctor's advice about 19 week pregnancy

What should mom discuss with the doctor?

In the 19-week-old fetus stage, the mother will soon be able to experience the following situations: One day, the mother can feel the baby constantly turning; but the very next day, her little athlete was completely motionless. Keep calm! At this stage in the 19th week of pregnancy, worries about unstable baby movements are often unnecessary. Later, at 28 weeks gestation, fetal movements become more consistent. Then is the time when mothers should create a habit of checking their baby's movements regularly.

If you don't notice any movement from your baby all day, try the following 19-week fetal stimulation: Lie down for an hour or two in the evening after drinking a glass of milk, a glass of orange juice or eat a nutritious snack . This can stimulate early fetal movement. But if this method doesn't work, don't worry, try again a few hours later. In fact, many mothers cannot notice their baby's movement for a day or two, even three or four at a time during their 19th week pregnancy. If you're still worried, see your doctor for a cold. feel more secure.

What tests do you need to know?

At this point, you will have an amniocentesis if you have decided to have this test. During amniocentesis, the doctor will take a sample of amniotic fluid from around the baby and have it checked to see if the baby has a genetic abnormality, such as Down syndrome . Amniocentesis should be done for a specific reason as it is not a routine test. It's best to discuss the benefits, risks, and limitations of this test with your doctor before making a decision.

What do moms need to know to ensure the safety of 19 weeks pregnancy?

Sex during pregnancy

Are you worried that the pillow will be cold when you're 19 weeks pregnant? Do you think sex at this time will adversely affect your baby? Do not worry! Sex during pregnancy  is considered safe at all stages of pregnancy, as long as the mother's pregnancy is not a case of special attention. However, knowing that the mother's sex is completely safe during pregnancy does not mean that she wants to have sex at this time.

Many women find their sexual inspiration fluctuates during different stages of pregnancy. The mother's inspiration will depend a lot on the health condition, the mental condition, the size of the fetus and a series of other changes of the body. Talk to your husband if you think something is wrong. Even though mom and dad are thinking about the baby day and night, it's also important that you both have private time together.

Cow's milk contains the hormone BST

Mother will probably be concerned about whether it is safe to drink cow's milk containing BST hormone during pregnancy? Cows are often injected with BST to produce more milk. BST is a protein rather than a steroid, so it is not biologically active in humans and will simply be digested like other proteins when the mother loads milk containing BST.
