The research team from Stanford University in California, US, have developed a vehicle called Stanley. The vehicle used sensors, lasers, cameras and computer control panel to go over 212 km long way over the Nevada desert. Currently they continue to design the Junior, a VW Passat can be improved through a city driver crowded.

Modern cars today are filled with equipment like robots to handle the dangers that occur on the road. GPS devices, sensors detected the blind, camera, warning systems, control lines are becoming very popular. Scientists believe that will only need a small step to link all this technology and transfer control of the computer car.

"By 2030, we could deploy this technology on highways, and create safety beyond humans," Professor Sebastien Thrun said.
